POSTURE
Sit in easy pose. Keep the spine straight. A light Jalandhar Bandh: with the neck long and the chin tucked in slightly.
MUDRA
The palms face down with the left hand 3-5 inches below the right hand. This distance must be exact. The palms face down, parallel to the ground. The right palm is just below the chin.
EYES
Close the eyelids so they are 1/10th open – with a tiny crack open.
BREATH AND MANTRA
The breath is long slow and deep, through the nose.
Mentally chant the mantra, or use a recording as you pace your breath to the rhythm of the mantra:
Ra Ma Da Sa - on the inhalation
Sa Say So Hung – on the exhalation
TIME
11 min
It can gradually be extended to 31 minutes
ENDING
Inhale fully and exhale fully.
Repeat the inhale and exhale cycle twice more. Relax.
