Elevation of the Body, Heart and Mind
Elevation of the Body, Heart and Mind
• Self-Healing • Takes away your calamities • Calming an irritated mind
POSTURE
Sit in easy pose. Keep the spine straight. A light Jalandhar Bandh: with the neck long and the chin tucked in slightly.
MUDRA
Bring your hands in front of the heart center, the elbows are bent and the arms are parallel to the floor. Interlock the index fingers, as you maintain a medium pressure, fingers hooked on around the second joint, and rest the thumbs on the middle fingers.
EYES
Closed, With a light concentration at the third eye point, the root of the nose, where the eyebrows meet.
BREATH & MANTRA
Chant from the navel, by adding a slight pulse at the navel with each syllable of the mantra. This will give more power to the chant. Stay connected with your awareness to the navel.
You may chant in any style you prefer.
TIME
31 minutes
ENDING
Inhale deeply, hold the breath, straighten your spine, and pull on the index fingers, exhale. Inhale deeply, hold the breath and squeeze your entire body. Exhale. Inhale deeply, hold the breath and stick the tongue out from its base as far as possible. Exhale and relax.
COMMENTS
This posture locks the body’s energy pattern so that elevation may come to you.
If you chant the mantra from the navel, it will heal you. If you chant the mantra from the heart, it will take away your calamities. If you chant the mantra from the throat, it will cure an irritated mind.
